It isn't even a permanent color. Kinjou's known for a long time that Makishima dyes his hair. It's something that has to be tended to periodically, can fade if ignored, and Makishima could even stop at any time. But he never has. Its always been the way it was, green and red. It was like his signature along with every other part of him, everything that made him Makishima.
So why change it now, he wonders. Kinjou stays silent as he continues running his finger along the purple streak. It's so different... he doesn't really know how to answer.
And so instead of saying anything, Kinjou just moves his hand away and takes Makishima's chin in his grasp, leans in and kisses him.]
